The aim of this study was to determine the impact additions tungsten carbide and silicon microparticles lubricant used in burnishing process on tribological properties friction pairs. cylinders made AISI 1045 steel constituted a workpiece. Burnishing with SN150 base oil addition microparticles. tested materials were burnished forces 1000 N 1500 N. Before after process, surface roughness hardness measured. also presents results pairs structural materials. It found that can result improved quality reduced roughness. confirmed effect properties.
